Taking maple syrup and turning it into simple syrup perfect for cocktails, desserts, and baked goodies.

A maple simple syrup may give your cocktails, desserts, and drinks a unique flavor and complexity. You can utilize grade A or B types; both are good. We prefer the grade A because it appears to have a more neutral taste with a subtle maple flavor. 

Maple simple syrup makes a great vegan option when using for baking or natural sweetener for desserts and beverages. It is also a healthier alternative to white sugar!

How To Make Maple Simple Syrup

Tools used: Saucepan, Syrup Pump, Glass Measuring Cups, Silicone Spatula, Weck Jar Carafe, Funnel


Servings: 1 ½ Cups | Course: Sweetener | Cuisine: American


Ingredients:


Prep: 1 minutes | Cook: 4 minutes

Time needed: 5 minutes.

Instructions:

  1. In a small pot, add in the water and maple syrup over medium heat. Bring the simple syrup to a boil while occasionally stirring. Remove from the heat once it reaches a boil which should take about 4 minutes.

  2. Allow it to cool and transfer it into an airtight jar. Can store at room temperature for up to a month or refrigerate for up to 3 months.
